We invite you to join us on H2Go: Experience the Journey for Water.H2Go is more than just a walk - it's an immersive journey that can be shared with small or large groups, across multiple time zones, and around the globe. Participants are invited to walk, run, jog, skip, or wheel up to 5k while listening to a recording (available in any language) that shares the daily experience of getting water in one of the communities we serve. We encourage you to take this journey near a water source, whether it’s the ocean, a fountain, or even a path where you can get water from a vending machine. This helps illustrate the stark contrast between our easy access to water of any kind and the challenges faced by others.
If H2Go feels like too much of a time commitment, consider participating in a step challenge instead. Compare your daily steps to the distances many children around the world must walk to and from school and people must walk to gather water. Turn it into a friendly competition through team challenges, designed to encourage healthy habits while learning about the distances children and families often walk in a day. Whether you’re looking for a comprehensive experience or a quick, impactful activity, both our step challenge and H2Go offer a way to connect with our mission that fits your schedule.
Min/Max Participants: There is no minimum or maximum number of participants required.
Location: Flexible—these activities can be done anywhere.
Facilitation: Available as facilitated or non-facilitated, depending on your preference.
Repeatability: These activities can be conducted as frequently as you’d like.
Duration: Depending on the option chosen, the activity can take up to an hour.
