We partner with you to faciliate 3-4 hour onsite Volunteer Working Bee Events in the greater Sydney area. Our founder will be onsite for the event, providing live demonstrations to help kick things off, then walking around the room providing additional one-on-one support during the day.

Goal: Volunteers help finish final assembly of quilts by tying knots to secure all three layers as well as hand sewing labels to the back of each quilt to be donated

How you can help: No prior sewing skills required - if you can tie your shoes you can help us finish quilts to be donated for seriously ill and traumatized children

We will provide your volunteers with work kits that include:
(1) Pre-made quilt tops with backing, ready for final assembly
(2) Scissors, needles, thread and blanket labels
(3) Step by step instructions including pictures

In addition to scheduling volunteers ready to work for 3 hours, we also need for you to provide a large room with long folding tables that will be our workspace. Roughly 2-4 volunteers can work at each table on the day. Typically volunteers find that standing while they work is ideal, so we would not need chairs for everyone on the day.

Join us in reaching our goal by lending a hand. Your support will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our objective and make a positive impact.
