Support our mission to save lives by helping us set up for one of our largest fundraisers of the year, the Lung Force Walk.Set up will include unloading storage bins/water bottles, setting up tents, moving tables and chairs at our event site (Public Square Park). Come prepared to lift objects outside!
This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for after work/Friday afternoon if you enjoy the outdoors. PLUS we will throw in an authentic event t-shirt which will commemorate your commitment to raising awareness about lung cancer, the number one cancer killer of both men and women.

Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to take your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. Basically, the Night of Champions is an invitational fundraising event that will be taking place at the Aberdeen Eagles Club on Saturday April 28th, 2018, starting at 4:00PM. This event will be hosted by the Deng-Foundation & the Eagles Club. It will be open to public and everyone is invited to come. We will be playing the following games: Darts, Bingo, Monopoly, and Corn-hole, followed by an auction. The purpose is to raise funds for the Deng-Foundation and its effort in fighting malaria in South Sudan. All proceeds raised will go directly to fund the 2019 medical clinic project in Aweil East, South Sudan where malaria outbreak is taking place and killing people every day. This will be the first medical clinic to be built in Aweil East, South Sudan. For more information, please contact Willie. We want to take the time today to recognize and thank those who are working so hard to keep our streets safe from the horrors of drunk and drugged driving. The annual National Juvenile Arthritis Conference is the Arthritis Foundation’s signature, nationwide event for families affected by juvenile arthritis. This four-day educational conference focuses on health, wellness and fun for families and children affected by JA and related childhood rheumatic diseases. There are educational sessions for parents and caregivers, child and teen-specific programming and activities – even siblings have their own session. Volunteers will assist in event set up, supplies set up for the Kids Program (e.g. sorting/counting various materials, prepping craft projects) and post-event breakdown.Available Shifts

March for Babies is the March of Dimes largest fundraiser. For months, families and company leaders have been raising funds to support Healthy Babies. The purpose of the walk is to celebrate and thank our partners and families for their support! There is no cost to attend this event. Fundraising is encouraged but there is no entry fee. Thank you for giving every baby a fighting chance!Volunteer check-in begins at 9:00 a.m.

Part of our mission at Ronald McDonald House is to provide a comfortable place to stay for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment in the Charleston area. To reach this goal, we look to the community to provide help and support. An important part of this mission is to provide our families with every convenience we can.Families need and look forward to a well-balanced meal after a long day at the hospital. As a volunteer with our Meal Program, you can help reduce some of the incredible stress experienced by the families with something as fundamental as a home cooked meal.
You can help by either cooking a meal at our House or bringing in prepared food from a restaurant or packaged food from a grocery store. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always welcome.
