Biophilia mechanisms- Theory Knowledge Analyst- Nature Counter

Extensive research has shown that immersion in nature has multiple positive benefits for individuals that can result in positive impacts on organizations and institutions. These include greater focus, productivity, creativity and sense of wellbeing; stronger social ties and immunities; improved self-esteem; and lower stress, anxiety, and blood pressure. Nature is often disregarded and heedlessly damaged by commercial actors such as banks and real estate developers in pursuit of profit; however, if these actors understood more about how nature can affect their employees, they would recognize that preserving nature and encouraging people to spend time in nature could actually increase the profitability of their ventures. Despite the fact that immersion in nature is a proven way to increase public health, individual focus and productivity, and general learning and wellbeing, it is not embraced by institutions as a tool to achieve these goals.

Nature Counter by CrowdDoing is seeking virtual volunteers to help us to help everyone living in cities and suburbs to get enough nature dose to achieve their productivity, mental health and wellbeing goals.. Learn much more than you ever knew you could know about ""forest bathing"", ""attention restoration theory"", ""eco-therapy"", ""biophelia"", ""nature deficit disorder reduction"", ""contextual nootropics"" and so much more! #mentalhealth#wellbeing#virtualvolunteering#reactjs#iphoneapp#androidapp, #sustainability#hiking#outdoors

Our Education Foundation provides a fun fundraiser while providing a family activity during the holiday season. We have a family breakfast at President's elementary school in Arlington on Saturday, Dec 3rd 2022. We have two timeslots for families to choose from; either 8:30 am and 10:30 am. We have a hot cocoa bar, arts and crafts, and pictures with Santa included in the ticket price. We have special children’s characters coming also to take pictures with kids and families.
