We are seeking volunteers to assist in the development of Nigeria’s first AI curriculum tailored for primary and secondary school students. This initiative aims to equip young learners with the foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, positioning them for success in the future digital economy.

By introducing AI education at an early stage, this project will empower the next generation with essential skills in technology and innovation, helping Nigeria become a leader in AI education in Africa.

Opportunity Details

We are looking for volunteers to serve as guest speakers at our leadership and innovation programs, which aim to empower Nigerian youth with the skills, knowledge, and inspiration to excel in their careers and personal development. Programs such as LEAD Camp leadership program for girls, RISE Camp leadership program for boys, National Company Of the Year Program, and STEM Boot Camps promote leadership, innovation, and digital literacy.

Having volunteers share their expertise and experiences is crucial to exposing participants to global insights, fostering innovation, and inspiring the next generation of leaders in Nigeria.

Our 6 Degrees event brings you into direct conversation with underserved middle school scholars who are considering their future opportunities. Your participation will make it possible to create valuable connections that increase students' depth of knowledge about college and career pathways. Scholars will visit career booths and network with you. You will mentor them through 1:1 conversations where you introduce your profession, share your experiences in the field, educate about skills required, recommend colleges, and review student resumes.

With multiple career booths, we have a place for you. Target areas include:

• Entrepreneurship
• Finance
• Human Resources
• Law
• Life Science and Medicine
• Marketing, Public Relations and Sales

Our EL-Create program is carefully designed to enable children to collaborate, reflect on and connect first-hand experiences and learnings from the classroom or stage with their real lives.

Opportunity Details

On December 8, 2024, we will host out second annual CAROLS AND CAKES fundraiser. We have a pancake breakfast, visit from Santa, and carols for the Choir. This is a major fundraising for our program and requires many people to help. If you could send us the maximum number of helpers... we'd love it!!
