The Willits Sober Grad Party Committee members have been working with Willits residents, upcoming Class of 2019 graduates and neighboring community members from September of 2018 through the present to prepare for the 33rd Annual Willits Sober Grad Night Party. We need help at 111 E. Commercial Street, Willits, CA, during the day of the party Thursday, June 6, 2019 beginning at 9:30 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m., including: decorating, filling balloons, moving tables, attaching paper decorations and all-around "helping" as directed by the Sober Grad Party committee members. Volunteers from the Kohl's Department Store in Ukiah, California have helped tremendously in the past by volunteering their help the day of the party. The purpose of the Sober Grad Night Party is to provide a safe and happy graduation celebration with no alcohol or illegal drugs for the 2019 high school graduating class of the Willits Unified School System. With our almost yearly planning, we are actively involving the community in the process of educating youth and the community itself about drug and alcohol abuse.Available Shifts

The Moore Band Booster Pancake Breakfast is the largest fundraising opportunity fir the Boosters. Funds raised from this event sustain the 300 Music students at Moore Middle School each year, enabling that instruments can be purchased and repaired, and transportation to performances can be obtained. Economics for Success is an interactive program designed to inspire Grade 9 students to develop positive attitudes towards post-secondary education and their future career planning. Engaging activities introduce concepts and and stimulate discussions for students. Your role is to facilitate these activities!Program is delivered over a full school morning. 3-4 hour time commitment. Training and program materials provided.
