As a tournament judge you can directly facilitate the tournament experience for new debaters, whether or not you have prior debate or judging experience. If you can bring professionalism, positivity, and respect then you can be a great judge. Every volunteer judge allows for 4 more students to participate.

Judges watch the debate round, evaluate teams on logic, effective argumentation, and speaking skills. They pick a winner and assign speaking points to individual students and provide written and oral feedback on their decision. At a debate tournament, each debate round is approximately 1.5 hours with approximately 10 minutes between rounds. Each tournament will host a minimum of 3 rounds, but may expand to accommodate student entry.

The time commitment varies and you can judge some, or all, of the rounds. We will work with you to be flexible with your schedule, as you are doing a great service for the students in our program. Each new judge volunteer will be trained (approximately two hours) in advance of a tournament. You will learn about the norms of high school debate, including debate evaluation, the style of the activity, and how to make effective and informed decisions.

Help a volunteer run charity bringing clean water, girls' education and better livelihoods to rural Tanzania for 46 years by helping develop their website SEO and analytics.

SMART works with Scholars who are needing support in various academic content areas. These areas range from basic subjects such as general middle school math or writing to 11th and 12th grade ACT/SAT Prep. SMART tutors also help build confidence, improve time management, organization, and accountability skills.

You can support SMART Scholars by becoming a tutor. Tutoring sessions are held virtually, or in person once a week from for an hour to an hour and a half. The times generally range from 4pm- 7pm. Meeting schedules will depend on student/ tutor shared availabilities.

A non formal Educational program for children on knowing good touch and bad touch has been implemented in the past for 3 years and now the donor organization has continued to support it for next 2 years. We would like to create a video clipping based on the past project report and roadmap designed for current ongoing project.
