Make a Difference in a Student’s LifeJoin EnCorps’ STEMx Tutors program to virtually tutor math to middle school students who are under-performing in Foundational Math, Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1.
As a volunteer math tutor, you prepare students for the rigor of high school mathematics and establish the foundational knowledge needed to pursue a college education that prepares students for a career in an increasingly technical world.
EnCorps STEMx Tutors make a significant difference in a student’s relationship with math: 84% of students who take part in the program increased their math scores in the 2021-22 academic year!
Choose When You Tutor One Hour, Twice a Week
The STEMx Tutors program is designed for busy professionals like you. As a STEMx Tutor you commit to tutoring one hour, twice a week. You choose the 1:1 or 2:1 student to tutor ratio.
