The intent of Linn Mar Post Prom is to keep students safe on prom night by providing a safe, alcohol and drug free event immediately following prom. Students must arrive shortly after prom ends and are not allowed to leave and re-enter the building. We provide food, fun games, and activities, such as a hypnotist. In addition, grand prizes are awarded at the end of the night and students must be present to win. This encourages students to attend and remain at post prom until the morning, after which they can return home safely.Post prom is entirely funded through business and parent donations. All senior students are invited to attend, whether or not they attend prom. Many students decide to forgo prom, which is often expensive, and choose to attend post prom.
We are exited to have post prom in person again this year and the students are thrilled as well! We hare hoping that Kohls employees will choose to volunteer on the day of the event with set up during the day or at the event in the evening.
