We are a new nonprofit aiming to uplift our most vulnerable communities through education and support. We have 501(c)3 status and have begun to apply for grants. But we want to help students now! We would like to start with students this summer. Not only will this allow us to test our program before the school year starts, but it will also provide us with valuable data to include in grant applications for the 2021-2022 school year. In other words, having a solid fundraising foundation now will help us acquire more funding in the future.

I would like a Fundraising Consultant to review our current:
- email and phone content for correspondence with potential donors
- social media posts and campaigns
- newsletters/emails to past and potential clients of for-profit branch
- donation page on website: https://www.educateradiateelevate.org/donate/
- offerings to schools, PTA/PTOs, and parent groups of talks in exchange for donations
- Get and Give Program for Board of Directors
The goal is to improve our messaging to draw in more private donations.

I have already written all content for donor outreach done via CRM, invoicing, volunteer Ambassadors, individual outreach emails, etc.
I already have social media accounts that have been posted on 7 days/week since 1/1/21.
I have a detailed Donate page on our website.
I have presentations developed and tested to offer to schools, PTA/PTOs, and parent groups in exchange for donations.

I would like an expert to review this content to make sure our messaging is clear, concise, and enticing!

Today, more than 1 billion students are offline—mostly because they cannot afford it. At GiveInternet.org, you can sponsor monthly Internet fees and laptops for as little as $1 for students living in the most underserved communities in developing countries. Each month, you’ll receive updates on how your money was spent and how the lives of the students are changing.

We are looking for volunteers to aid our marketing efforts, help develop a go-to-market strategy, and introduce to media outlets or influencers.

The proposed goal of the Aspirational Mentorship Program is to increase the mentees’ self-confidence for their professional future and the trust of all participants (mentors and mentees) that formulating and achieving dreams and engaging in (early and intelligent) career planning & development are learnable skills. To achieve the proposed goals, seven main types of activities are proposed:
- Introductory and debrief webinars for mentors only;
- Joint activities for mentees and mentors, where all contribute on an equal footing (ex. both mentees and mentors share dreams and aspirations, so that a real-life ‘modelling’ context is created for mentors to illustrate adaptive behaviors and attitudes);
- 1-on1 activities between each mentor and his/ her mentee, so that the bond of trust created in the first year of the program is deepened and consolidated;
- Small group activities (2-3 mentors with 2-3 mentees), so that multiple relational models can be observed by both mentors and mentees;
A final event where each mentee will present its career dream & career plan and event guests are invited to ‘bid’ their help.
NB: The program last one year and it started in November 2021 and enrollment phase is finished. We are posting this opportunity so we can allow already embarked volunteers to enroll in Benevity platform.

Many kids are struggling right now with the Pandemic, remote learning, and all the normal difficulties of youth.

We need your special skills and perspective to show a young person what opportunities they have and give them the confidence to work towards big goals.

An Academic Mentor is a trusted caring adult that spends at least one hour per week with their mentee using Be A Mentor’s Virtual Mentoring Platform.

Mentors focus on goal setting, homework help, and career exploration. While there may be a focus on homework help in the meetings, these sessions are more than just tutoring. Mentees form a personal relationship with their mentor to build resilience, social engagement, and a support network.

Virtual mentoring removes barriers of distance, requires no commute time, and can offer a flexible schedule.

Sign up to become an Academic Mentor and help a youth reach their full potential.

For High School seniors, graduation is an exciting time, but unfortunately it often includes alcohol, drugs and driving while impaired. In Leon County, from April through June each year an average of almost 500 car crashes involve a driver between the ages of 15 and 19.

For this reason, the Project Graduation committee, consisting of parents of students at Lawton Chiles High, have committed to providing graduating seniors with an exciting alternative to the typical post-ceremony celebrations. Our event includes music, games, amazing prizes and an all-night buffet

We need volunteers to help manage the games, prizes, food and keep the kids safe that night!

At JA Finance Park presented by the USAA Foundation, each student becomes “an adult for the day” in an electronic simulation. The students are assigned a life scenario so they can experience firsthand the real-life challenges of making personal budgeting decisions. After calculating their net monthly income and savings goals, students visit kiosks that represent different budget categories such housing, health insurance, groceries, and utilities. Anyone with real world monthly budgeting experience can become a volunteer. JA Finance Park Volunteers play a key role by helping the students understand the concepts of personal financial planning and career exploration. Volunteers provide guidance and assistance while monitoring and verifying students’ work.
