The Hamilton Education Foundation is excited to announce its GALA Fundraiser on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at the Marriott Milwaukee West in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The evening includes a grand raffle, games, silent and live auctions, several drawings along with entertainment, all with the goal of raising money for the students and teachers of the Hamilton School District. We will be looking for assistance with set up and take down of the event. Volunteer help before the event would be available as well.Available Shifts

This opportunity is in-person and will follow current CDC guidelines and UNR requirements for guests on campus.Welcome to the 7th annual State of Nevada Mathematics Championship! ALL students in grades 1-12 who reside in Nevada are encouraged to participate! We are excited to have this year’s Championship hosted by UNR's Engineering Department in Reno, Nevada.
We enjoy presenting this Nevada contest to our Nevada students. This is NOT an invitational. Each student will participate in individual rounds and in a team round.
We need help with proctoring the contest (i.e., making sure the rules are followed), runners, and photographers. Please help us make this the best State Mathematics Championship yet!

Opportunity Details
We need proctor contests (i.e. make sure the rules are followed), help handing out awards, photographers, and runners.MathRocks! is our signature monthly math contest that has over 100 participants each contest. ALL area students in grades 1 through 12 are welcome (visiting students are also welcome). There are multiple individual rounds plus a team round, where students are organized and work together on a set of problems. Students are welcome to register at MyNNVMath.org.
We focus on continuous learning and encourage kids to embrace the challenge competition math provides.
The success of MathRocks! is dependent on our amazing volunteers! The more volunteers, the smoother the competition goes, and the more fun kids have.

We invite you to be our guest at our 20th annual Selvidge Middle School Trivia Night. We aren't interested in having you work the event, but instead we invite you to gather with your co-workers for an evening of fun & team building! I'll provide drinks and snacks for your table! As a Section Assistant in the 1st Frimley Green & Mytchett St Andrews Scout Group you will do all of this and more, using your current skills and learning new ones.We now need a fun, committed person to support young people, helping run games and activities as part of weekly meetings. As part of a small team, you will be plan and deliver a safe and exciting programme for young people, helping them achieve badges and awards.
Enthusiasm, an empathy with young people and a sense of humour are a must. But we can teach you the rest. We’ll support you all the way and ensure you get the training and support you need.

We are looking for passionate and committed volunteers to join us as virtual instructors for our STEM Enrichment in Indigenous Communities Program. Right now, we deliver biweekly, in-class STEM lessons to six classrooms in Northwestern Ontario—and in 2026, we hope to double our reach by adding six more classrooms. To make this possible, we need dedicated volunteers who are excited to inspire young learners in remote First Nation communities.All lesson plans and materials are fully prepared, so volunteers can focus on what matters most: connecting with students and bringing science to life. If you’re interested, please reach out and we’ll share the exact schedule of sessions.
The time commitment is minimal but meaningful: just 30 minutes of training and 1 hour of teaching per session. Your involvement can spark curiosity, build confidence, and open new opportunities for students who rarely have access to specialized STEM programming.

The mama saadia program is fortunate to have a corps of volunteers who are Dedicated to the program and are available to work with children on improving their academic skills. Student from have taken an active role in homework area, working individually with students using current homework assignments. In the computer lab they help the students improve their keyboarding skills and show them how to use the computer for research. They read aloud with students and give quizzes on tapes and videos to improve comprehension. When college students are not on campus, ustadha's assume the role of tutors. Incentives are awarded to the participants based on attendance, good behavior and general attitude.

We welcome volunteers to Pause-4A-Cause and support ALL events. Camp volunteers support youth campers throughout the week of camps. As a volunteer, each volunteerare docents, advise and supervise, encourage students to be engaged in the concepts of rope skipping, Science Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) while having fun. This community service initiative will change lives, inspire, empower and give hope.
All camp volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.
