HSF has begun an alumni outreach to drum up support from those that attended our schools. We currently are aware of over 50 businesses owned by alums. We would like this list updated and need some help with phone calls and internet research. All from your own home!! You are NOT asking for money. Simply confirming the name of the owner, that they did graduate, do they know of other alum owned business and what heading will they be listed for FREE on our high traffic hsdalumni.org website. This will take a few hours, then we would update and go through again in stages.

It is the largest BookLand educational project in which we invite you to participate as a MENTOR / TEACHER or just as a skilled specialist in various activities dedicated to children (6-18 y.o.).
The Dual System Professional Pre-University Campus is curently built and doon will be open in Arges County, to train the future qualified workers in production & services that Romania needs.
Why dual professional? Because the job is a golden bracelet and the offer of jobs upon completion of the theoretical and practical courses, directly to the employer, represents a competitive advantage for any young person up to 26 years old. Why from the countryside? Because, if those from the city "failed" entering a technical college, for teenagers and young adults from the countryside to use their skills and learn in a VET Campus that provides them with scholarships and jobs after graduating represents an extraordinary chance for a better life.
This educational center will provide all education cycles: primary, secondary, high school and post-high school, including the teachers, who will teach according to a modern curriculum to train specialists on the certifications requested by economic agents in the county. Built on an area of 72,000 square meters, the BookLand Campus in Arges (Vulturesti village) will be equipped with all the necessary spaces and facilities for ~1,000 students who will study here annually: laboratories, workshops, library, amphitheater, performance hall, fields sports, relaxation areas, canteen, cafe, bakery, laundry, barbershop, mini-animal farm, orchard, greenhouse and a vegetable garden.
In dual professional education, in the first year of study, represents 80% theory + 20% practice, in the second year 40% theory + 60% practice, in the third year 28% theory + 72% practice.
Dual education represents a possible educational path for at least 50% of students vs. 17% are currently following him. We believe it is the future!
