West Allegheny Middles School's Parent Teacher Association is hosting a SPRING CARNIVAL on Friday April 17, 2020. The SPRING CARNIVAL'S purpose is two fold: serve as a FUNdraiser for our many PTA sponsored activities such as Fast Fest, Lunchroom Takeovers, Fall Festivals and to provide our students with a fun night filled with carnival games, photo booth and most importantly to build camaraderie among our students!
WAMS PTA is in need of some additional adult help on the night of the event. Kohl's attendees would help work the welcome table, concessions and help with Carnival Games.
We were so thankful for the help from Robinson Kohl's at our last year event and would love to have the opportunity for the help again at our 2020 event!

Our auction event is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The fundraising at this event enables us to provide a quality private education to a significant amount of students who would not otherwise be able to have such an opportunity - over 90% of Pius XI students receive financial aid.

This auction is NOT your typical auction, however. It is truly an EVENT! We are hosting the event at Historic Turner Hall Ballroom and we will have a performance from Pius graduate Malik Johnson, a hip-hop cellist who has performed alongside Grammy Award winners John Legend, the Matt Jones Orchestra, and PJ Morton!

Volunteers will be needed for setup, tear-down, and various duties that will take place during the event whether it be assisting with online bidding, helping prep the speakers/performers, or assisting our caterers with other duties. We can use help in a multitude of ways, so if none of these catch your fancy, we will find another way for you to be helpful. We greatly appreciate your gift of your time!

Enjoy a creative “standing dinner” (with plenty of seating as well!) Special guests include musician Malik Johnson ’17 and guest speakers The Acevedo Family.

Copy from our event invitation:
The “Take-A-Stand” Award will honor Audrey Skwierawski ’85, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge and her lifelong commitment to standing up for, and standing by, victims of violence.

Silent Auction, Live Appeal, and more to raise funds for Pius XI Catholic High School.

Project Prom is a chaperoned all-night substance-free celebration immediately following prom on May 2. This replaces what previously was Project Grad, which was held after graduation.

Parents, teachers and staff team up to present Project Prom, partnering together to cover the costs of the event. This event offers students an opportunity to celebrate the end of the school year and sends the message that celebrating without alcohol, cigarettes or drugs is the right choice. We want to celebrate students who make good decisions!

Volunteers are needed to chaperone all or part of this event at William Jewell College’s Mabee Center. Volunteers will interact with students and help parents and teachers who are chaperoning the event.
