The Finance and Investment Challenge Bowl (FICB) is a quiz bowl tournament for high school students, testing their knowledge of personal finance and economics.

FICB helps meet the need for better financial literacy by reinforcing classroom education at very little additional cost to the schools, and aligns with the new Wisconsin teaching and learning standards in economics and personal finance. In our typical format, student teams meet at a tournament which celebrates their learning in an atmosphere of friendly competition. Each tournament features a quizmaster, scorekeeper, and panel of judges. The tournament takes place as a “field trip” during the school day and lasts from 8:30 am until approximately 1:30 pm. Due to the covid pandemic, we will conduct FICB virtually but still need volunteers. Several games are held simultaneously throughout the day, each of which must be staffed by a volunteer quizmaster, scorekeeper, and several judges.
