These workshops for middle and high school students to introduce them to STEM Careers. The cafes take place in informal settings where STEM professionals share their career journey & current work with students & engage them in hands-on activity or demo connected to their work. These cafés will take place monthly on weekday evenings.

Work at our food booth at the Wheatland Music Festival September 6 - 8, 2019, or make dough September 14, 2019 at the Intermediate School Kitchen 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or fry Chirso at the Mecosta Free Methodist church, Monday, August 26 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or until done.

Opportunity Details

We seek a director the board and secretary to join the 501(c)3. This will involve minimal activity but is legally required. Our previous director is stepping down. Previous experience of being a non-profit director is NOT required. All that's required is being somewhat organized with paperwork and preferably an interest in STEM education. There's an opportunity to get involved with mentoring the team of enthusiastic high schoolers but that is not required.
