This is a community event open to all and is a fundraiser for the Newark Catholic Athletic Association. This is our largest fundraiser during the school year. All tuition funds paid by school families go toward education and school operation expenses. The athletic association raises funds in order to pay for qualified athletic staff, help with upkeep and maintenance of athletic facilities and ensure student athletes teams have appropriate uniforms and equipment. All of these things are important to ensure the safety and security of our student athletes.

Outreach activities of The Spring Development Initiative are completed by volunteers – called ambassadors – and they can choose to work with specific TSDI projects or across programs. We accept all volunteers 18 years and above living anywhere in the world who will benefit from online training modules, including in-person workshops and seminars. Volunteers will perform various tasks including online promotion and marketing of our activities and fundraising according to their ability and availability.
Duties of Ambassadors
Ambassadors will support TSDI in expanding our partnerships by identifying and cultivating members, interns or volunteers in their local/focus area. For instance, you can organize for TSDI to come to your school or organization for a presentation about TSDI or to deliver one of our leadership training modules. We will build rewarding relationships with our ambassadors, offer training and support, and though there is no targeted time commitment, they are encouraged to devote 2 hours/month to our activities.
