Looking for volunteers who like to work with children in an innovative environment with accessible robotics for beginners & advanced levels!!!During the school vacations we organize "robot playgrounds" for kids in the age between 5 and 12 years old. They subscribe for 1 half a day until 3 full days; depending of the age of the child.
For now this will be in 't Gooi and Amstelveen.
We are the first ‘Robot Playground’ in the Netherlands, where children can play and discover the largest assortment of robots & programming activities, along with the newest and most innovative technologies.
Volunteers:
We are providing a robot playground during vacation time for 30 kids per day. Therefore we need a lot of volunteers to facilitate that the kids can play and discover with all kind off different robot activities.
RobotWise has a standard program but need some volunteers to work together with the kids.
You do not need any knowledge off technology, but love to work with kids :) .
Dates during Christmas vacation:
- Thursday 28 of December and Friday 29 December region Utrecht/gooi
- Wednesday 3, Thursday 4 adn Friday 5 January region Amstelveen

Looking for volunteers who like to work with children in an innovative environment with accessible robotics for beginners & advanced levels!!!On Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of November, Robotwise will be present at the tech-fest of the curious Netherlands, Bright Day at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
About 10,000 people per day will be visiting this event, primarily families with children between the ages of 8 and 12 years old.
RobotWise will be hosting our ‘Robot Playground’ and of course we plan to make it an event to remember.
We are the first ‘Robot Playground’ in the Netherlands, where children can play and discover the largest assortment of robots & programming activities, along with the newest and most innovative technologies.
RobotWise is looking for organisations & volunteers that are open and willing to sponsor our event at Bright Day, by financial and/ or material means.
Volunteers:
We are providing a robot playground for 50 kids every hour. Therefore we need a lot of volunteers to facilitate that the kids can play with all kind off different robot activities.
RobotWise has a standard program but need some volunteers to work together with the kids.
You do not need any knowledge off technology, but love to work with kids :) .
Day and time: Saturday 18 and Sunday 19th of November from 8.30 - 18.00 or half days.

After calculating their net monthly income and savings goals, students visit kiosks that represent different budget categories such housing, health insurance, groceries, and utilities. Anyone with real world monthly budgeting experience can become a volunteer. JA Finance Park Volunteers play a key role by helping the students understand the concepts of personal financial planning and career exploration. Elevate A Girl Foundation Inc. is seeking for board members with Finance/Audit expertise who will share their passion and commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of underprivileged STEM girls in Tanzania, and can also help us raise the funds necessary to create better educational opportunities for the less fortunate girls.The finance/audit committee coordinates the board’s financial oversight responsibilities by recommending policy to the board, interpreting it to the team, and monitoring its implementation. The committee also provides board oversight of the organization’s financial audit.
The committee monitors the organization’s financial records; reviews and oversees the creating of accurate, timely, and meaningful financial statements to be presented to the board; reviews the annual budget and recommends it to the full board for approval; monitors budget implementation and financial procedures; monitors budget assets; monitors compliance with federal, state, and other reporting requirements; and helps the full board understand the organization’s finances. The committee also recommends the auditor for full board approval and reviews the audit.
Committee member should have a strong background in accounting, finance, or business.
Minimum of one year commitment preferred. One Hour A Week Is All It Takes To Make a DifferenceDanbury Schools and Business Collaborative (DSABC) School Based Mentoring program seeks volunteers to serve as one-on-one mentors to students of the Danbury Public Schools. DSABC mentors are assigned to engage in a one-on-one relationship with a student to serve as a friend and positive adult role model. Mentors meet at the child's school weekly for about an hour spending time playing games, reading, talking, listening, and being a friend. DSABC mentors are needed for students in 19 schools grades K-12. Mentors are assigned to a school based on desired grade level of student to work, proximity to work/home, and need. Interested candidates must complete an application, agree to criminal background check, and attend a 90 minute training before being placed with a student.
