Ridgeview Classical Schools are a K-12 charter school located in Fort Collins, CO. We are actively raising funds to replace the middle and upper school lockers. The current lockers are lockers that were retired from Fort Collins High School when it moved to its new location in 1995. At over 55 years old, they have been well loved but are now falling apart. Our goal is to raise $60,000, which would be sufficient to ensure the installation of 300 new lockers to be installed by the start of the 2018-2019 school year. Our primary fundraising activity is the Hoplite Hoedown dinner to be held April 7, 2018. A live auction and dessert auction will be part of the Hoedown activities.

On Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5, more than 1,300 students from FBLA chapters across the state of Oregon will be competing in over 65 competitive events at the annual State Business Leadership Conference at the Doubletree by Hilton Portland Lloyd Center. Events range from graphic design and digital video production to mock job interviews and impromptu speaking. While many of the competitions are exam-based, several require judging by practicing professionals to identify the top students in the competition. Judges use rubrics to evaluate the students' presentation skills as they deliver speeches or present case study reviews/recommendations, or put students through mock interviews or role plays. There are a variety of events, fitting the experience and comfort level of almost any volunteer. There are four available judging times - you may sign up for any or all that you are available to judge. Please consider taking part in this extraordinarily rewarding experience!
