High Voltage Holiday Toy Giveaway is one of the most anticipated events of the year in New Orleans. This program assists approximately 200 children with Holiday toys and gifts. For this program, High Voltage collects toys though donations and handles the application and scheduling process. During the months of October -December, we need a 2-3 volunteers to help coordinate this event, and 10 volunteers to help wrap toys and gifts. Hours are flexible.

Opportunity Details

Trap Depot Volunteers keep traps at their home or business, set a schedule when they can help cat caregivers in their area who have TNR appointments, come to the trap depot to check-out traps and lend traps as directed by ADLA Office, coach caregivers on best trapping techniques, demonstrate traps, keep records on trap check-outs and returns and generally support Trap Neuter Return and ADLA's Spay Neuter Hotline.

Coach Ditka's Celebrity Gridiron Gala is a fundraising dinner for Gridiron Greats led by Bears legend Mike Ditka. The money raised will go towards financial grants and no-cost medical assistance to dire need, retired NFL players from a forgotten era. Gridiron Greats also provides protective sports equipment to financially at risk boys and girls youth sports teams in Naples.
Must be 21 years of age.
We are there to put on a successful event. There will be no consumption of alcohol. We ask that you do not take photos or ask the celebrities for autographs. Dress is business casual attire, with all pieces of clothing being appropriate lengths and cuts . We also ask that all volunteers wear comfortable shoes, as you will be on your feet the entire event!
For both shifts, we will be practicing social distancing and wearing masks, especially around guests. The safety of our guests, volunteers, foundation team, venue contacts, and vendors is our number one priority!
