Join us for our office volunteer days! Our office volunteers are crucial in helping maintain our donor communications. Volunteers help fold letters and stuff envelopes to mail to our donors. Volunteers also help us reach our supporters through phone calling, both to remind donors that their membership will be or has expired, and to give thanks to all those who have renewed.

Volunteer days are a great and easy way to get involved with the BTA, meet fellow volunteers and learn more about our programs, work and other places you can plug in.

We have an opportunity available for a volunteer Youth Program coordinator. The coordinator will work with staff to brainstorm Summer, and After School programs for you. Also help with official publications for this program. The work hours are from 11AM EST- 8:30PM EST Friday and Saturday or Monday-Tuesday. Working remotely is an option with computer check required. • Process donations, receipts and payment transactions
• Record keeping and Filing – must be accurate, complete, up to date
• Document preparation, report writing and correspondence
• Banking – online, credit cards, cash, transferring funds etc
• Assist with marketing and fundraising activities

CARE is in need of a shopkeeper to manage our gift store, answer questions from the community about CARE's mission to rescue dogs and cats from euthanasia, and to assist the Community Development and Programs Coordinator with pet related issues.



No lifting required unless you can't resist picking up adorable puppies and kittens.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

We encourage you to bring your pet during your service hours!
