The VDRC aims to promote the independence of persons living with all forms of disabilities, and at the heart of this are our wonderful volunteers. We offer a wide range of opportunities for individuals to help with the daily operations of our organization and, in the process, develop valuable skills and practices that many prospective employers look for in job applicants.

Front Desk Administrators answer phone calls from people looking to inquire about our services. The front desk administrator listens to the service user’s situation and ensures they are referred to the proper source of assistance. This task requires a strong ability to listen attentively and make prompt assessments about where to refer the service user. They also assist with prepping outgoing mail and various other office administration related tasks as needed.

You are the first person people see when they visit the center and help provide hospitality to guests attending onsite programs related to ecology, spirituality, or holistic health. QUEER ART FEST INC. is an all volunteer run 501(c)(3) organization based in Brooklyn, NY.

We are in our first year of operation and are in need of startup funding for our 2022 Calendar of Events. We are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer with grant writing & research experience.

In addition to our Flagship Summerfest & Winterfest art fairs, we are working on our First Annual Queer Art FilmFest, dedicated to showcasing emerging Queer film makers, Queer Art FashionFest, featuring a variety of LGBTQ+ designers, as well as pop up gallery shows, book launches and music/comedy events.

We are looking for a volunteer who can perform research on potential fundraising sources and available grants, prepare and grant proposals and reports based on application requirements and submit for review.

An ideal volunteer should:

- Have Experience and knowledge of grant application processes.
- Be a Skilled writer
- Have excellent communication & organizational skills
- Have the ability to work independently
- Have an interest in the arts
- Experienced with Word/Excel/Pages/Numbers etc

We believe it is now more important than ever to create new opportunities and platforms for independent LGBTQ+ artist and creators. We are achieving this by developing accessible programming for Queer artists across a variety of formats. Many LGBTQ+ artists & creators experience cultural bias that can make it difficult to participate in mainstream art fairs. Our events create accessible points of entry into the art world.


Our long term cultural vision is to establish a permanent space, which will be a hub for marginalized Queer creatives and a place for artists to find their intended audience.

Are you someone who has a compassionate telephone manner, perhaps know someone with ADHD or another mental health issue? Would you like to come on board to help the ADHD Foundation meet and exceed the growing demand for accurate information and to provide reliable and ethical referrals?

The ADHD National Helpline operates remotely, with volunteers located in all states of Australia.
Helpline Executives:
If you have expertise or skills in education (particularly Special Ed), psychology, coaching, other mental health skills and expertise or ADHD lived experience we would love to hear from you.

You will need to have a reliable internet connection and a keenness to come on board with a team of passionate and dedicated volunteers.

Explore Kenya by helping our students and young adults in the communities we serve with basic computer skills using standard programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, etc. Come and help our teens and young adults become comfortable with basic computer processes and improve their proficiency to fit the current market.

No degree or too much expertise is required, but you should know using both a computer and the internet. Our local Kenya team will assist you with modules used for workshops previously. With an ongoing shortage of manpower and a lack of funds, we look forward to welcoming volunteers dedicated to building a better future for those less fortunate. Most homes and schools where we are serving life are in terrible conditions. Entire families reside in cardboard shacks, lacking all amenities. Some areas have been affected by natural disasters and need help with reconstruction. At the same time, other communities lack the resources and manpower to work on the structural improvements and renovation measures of facilities like schools and daycare centers. Construction tasks vary during the project as follows;
- Building outdoor structures
- Painting
- Screwing metal scaffolding
- Trimming and preparing cement blocks
- Erecting walls
- Leveling the ground
- Constructing roofs
- Putting down floors
- Maintaining building
- Renovation tasks on older buildings
