Hospitality House serves adult women who are homeless and do not have a safety net or connections to lean on when they are facing this crisis in their life. The culture of the house is one of warmth and growth, allowing the clients to feel safe as they work towards their goals and securing stable housing.

Hospitality House’s Spring Fling Dinner Auction raises over $50,000, which is a large part of our annual budget, allowing us to provide housing and case management to 80 homeless women each year. Event Volunteers are crucial to making this event a success!

Event Volunteers will ensure that registration, auction data input & check-out runs smoothly! We will train volunteers on the auction software & all of the tasks that will be asked of them throughout the evening, including: checking in event attendees, inputting donations into the software, helping the auctioneer spot donors during the live auction segment, delivering auction items to winners at their tables, and closing out donor’s accounts at the end of the night.

This event will require 7 volunteer hours, 1-2 of which will be designated for a pre-event training a week before the event (remote or in-person options). We will ask volunteers to be at the event on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 5:00pm – 10:00pm at St. Francis of Assisi Unity Hall, 15216 21st Avenue SW, Burien, WA 98166.
