We always need volunteers! Volunteering does not have to mean a large time commitment. In fact, many of our volunteers donate an hour or two a month, when it fits into their schedule. A range of opportunities is available:

If you only have a couple of hours to give each month or two, you might like to help with transport or an event.

If you love dogs and are able to foster, we'd love to give you more information about our foster program. Rescue pays for all veterinary care and medications, you provide the food and love!

If you have more time to give, perhaps you’d like to become more involved in our ongoing functions.

And if you have special skills, we're eager to see how your expertise matches what we need.

Hope to hear from you today!

Founded in 2015, The DREAM Project provides a source of inspiration and motivation for primary and high school students with refugee background to integrate with the Australian community. We do this by helping them with their studies, preparing them for work and just being their friend.

We provide Academic Coaching, Skills for Life and weekend programs through partners such as schools, community groups and councils.

Academic Coaching
Academic coaches run weekly tutorials with students in teams of five in subjects including Maths, English and Science. These sessions are very hands-on and provide the students a structured, mentored approach to their education.

Skills for Life and Weekend activities
Skills For Life facilitators and coaches run workshops on essential topics such as self-confidence, responsibility, job search preparation and interviews. Additional weekend activities encourage two-way cultural exposure in areas like food, film, sports, arts and language.

Leadership Program
Our volunteers go through a Leadership Program to deliver their best in their own communities. Further leadership opportunities exist in running volunteer workshops and mentoring other young volunteers.

We need volunteer roles for academic coaches, facilitators, trainers, marketers, administration, fundraising, etc.
