The International Child/Parent Development Program (ICDP) aims to strengthen the empathy-based relationship all child caregivers have with the children they care for so that they may promote positive development and well-being. ICDP is adapted and integrated within communities through the training of each community’s professionals and parents. Changing Children’s Worlds Foundation (CCWF) implements ICDP throughout the Chicagoland area.

Minimum Requirements:
- Some college or 1+ year experience in the field.
- Good writing skills.
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Organized.
- Moderate computer skills (Excel/Numbers, Word/Pages and PowerPoint/Keynote)

Job Responsibilities:
- Project support
- Office management
- Continuing communications with funders, projects and other members of the office staff or interns/volunteers
- Basic bookkeeping for the organization
- Data entry

Spanish language is not required, but would be an asset.

Office Volunteer Night


Join us for our office volunteer days! Our office volunteers are crucial in helping maintain our donor communications. Volunteers help fold letters and stuff envelopes to mail to our donors. Volunteers also help us reach our supporters through phone calling, both to remind donors that their membership will be or has expired, and to give thanks to all those who have renewed.

Volunteer days are a great and easy way to get involved with the BTA, meet fellow volunteers and learn more about our programs, work and other places you can plug in.

Volunteer days are sponsored by Hotlips Pizza who provides lunch for our volunteers, and we receive donations from Stumptown to keep you caffinated the whole shift through.

You can access our buildings bike parking through the 6th Street entrance. There is a call box next to a large red garage door on 6th Street. Use this door to enter, and the bike parking is in the loading dock at the end of the hallway to the left. Be sure to lock your bike as other tenants use this garage.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fauquier welcome individuals interested in impacting the lives of youth in meaningful and character building ways. Many of the children we work with have no sense of opportunity or awareness of hope for the future. The Club is always open to adults interested in one on one mentoring, programmatic mentoring through art, music, engineering, leadership, sports, and other academic, recreational, and vocational activities. The CEO of the Young Journey Foundation is need of administrative support in the area of day to day operations, budgets, research and program administration.

The organization recently expanded into the Central Texas area. The youth programs are growing steadily and so are the administrative needs.

The goals and needs include general administrative duties such as composing letters, correspondences and budget using Word and Excel. The goal is to help organize and manage the organization's office needs to ensure youth are receiving full benefits of each program being offered.

Administrative assistance will help the CEO better perform her responsibilities and required duties.
