Opportunity Details

Beginning September 11th till August 15th, our ‘KICKstart’ Program is intended to fill the gap that exists between the level of activity that individuals with disabilities need versus what is available. This program provides young adults between the ages of 15 to 24 the opportunity to be active through indoor and outdoor activities, and as a result, live an overall healthier life.
This program runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9pm

As the Muscular Dystrophy Association's largest national sponsor, the IAFF fuels MDA's mission to save and improve the lives of people affected by muscular dystrophy, ALS and other diseases that severely limit strength and mobility, helping them live longer and grow stronger.

Hang out with hometown heroes! Cheer on fire fighters as they “Fill the Boot” for MDA. You will pick up and distribute refreshments to the fire fighters as they raise crucial funds for MDA on street corners in your community. Help is also needed for set up, clean up and to join other volunteers and MDA staff to count money collected. Most of all, show appreciation to dedicated fire fighters who work tirelessly to help others.

The Withers Collection is desirous of a volunteer informed about setting up internal server connectivity for computers, printers, and Access databases. We are in the second phase of our digitization of the negatives and artifacts of the Withers Collection Archive, comprised of prints and fiber-based silver gelatin negatives. Our 2018-2019 goal is to locate and implement a digital asset management system that will track image locator and meta data information for easy retrieval my the museum staff and our licensing customers.
