We are looking for volunteers to be part of our Program Development Committee to help develop and implement programs, recruit instructors and help us grow our programs. Must have access to your own computer and be able to conduct research of potential instructors in the community, Universities and colleges. This is a virtual position where you can work from home, and anywhere in Canada. Responsible for monitoring, developing, and implementing virtual/physical programs by semester, as well as working closely with the rest of our management/instructors to develop these virtual/physical programs for our members.

SF City Academy:
The San Francisco City Academy exists to transform the Tenderloin Community by breaking the cycle early of poverty, violence and addiction through educating and empowering children to overcome those obstacles. We have several volunteer options to help with:
-There are after-school tutoring options with our City Academy students, Monday - Friday, between 3pm - 5pm. Tutors are paired with students based on the strengths of the tutor and the needs of the student. Tutoring can be done via Zoom and we look for volunteers to have a weekly commitment.
-Volunteers can help with general tasks at our City Academy, such as admin, sanitation, monitoring duties, grading, walking students to the park, etc. These would be available Monday - Friday from 8am - 3pm and would be in person.
-Volunteers can assist a teacher for a day in their classroom. Responsibilities range from grading coursework, assisting students with in-class exercises, and supporting our teachers in the classroom. Volunteers are needed Monday - Friday.

The volunteers will assemble a mailing for the camp. All the materials will be delivered to Kohl's Brownsburg. Michelle Howser of Kohl's Brownsburg (store 1104) will distribute the materials to the volunteers.

The President-Elect’s primary role is to assist the President and prepare for the upcoming year. Under guidance from the President, the President-Elect will become familiar with the processes and procedures required to run the chapter.

The President-Elect is expected to perform all the duties specified by the AMA Puget Sound Constitution and Bylaws or those approved by the Board of Directors.

5+ years’ experience in strategic planning
Successful track record of building and leading a team

Power of the Purse is the biggest event of the year to impact women and girls in Miami-Dade County and we need YOUR help to make this virtual experience the best it can be!
The event will take place on April 8, 2021. Volunteers will assist invitees with any technical assistance they may need, including acquiring zoom link, login to the event, access to breakout rooms, and troubleshooting.

April 5, 2021 - Volunteers are required to attend a 30 min training session.
April 8, 2021 - Volunteers are expected to log in and participate in the event from 10 am to 3 pm.
