Volunteer Description:
As the Muscular Dystrophy Association's largest national sponsor, the IAFF fuels MDA's mission to save and improve the lives of people affected by muscular dystrophy, ALS and other diseases that severely limit strength and mobility, helping them live longer and grow stronger.

Hang out with hometown heroes! Cheer on fire fighters as they “Fill the Boot” for MDA. You will pick up and distribute refreshments to the fire fighters as they raise crucial funds for MDA on street corners in your community. Help is also needed for set up, clean up and to join other volunteers and MDA staff to count money collected. Most of all, show appreciation to dedicated fire fighters who work tirelessly to help others.

Volunteer Description:
Office Volunteers will be supporting our consumer engagement campaigns. They will be responsible for creating packages with Shamrock materials to deliver to our campaign sponsors. Organize materials to put into kits --- That's it! Our Shamrock partners require posters, camper profiles, stickers, and, naturally, the one-and-only Shamrock. All materials will be organized to make this run as efficiently as possible.

Uneed2 has volunteer and internship opportunities available. Both programs are valuable experience to put on your resume. Volunteers are used help the organization while internship we teach soft skills in customer service and workforce skills while learning a technical trade.

Opportunity Details

This activity provides learning skills, creativity and socialization for all ages. The Rumriver Art center is a non profit that provides art for all ages. This spring classes for older adults will be introduced to the community.
You will assist in set up, tear down and helping children and adults as needed with their art projects.
This is family friendly and volunteers are encouraged to bring children or grandchildren to participate as well.
