Our webpage is currently updated by one of our board of directors. We would like someone to assist us in providing consistent and updated information in various social media outlets. Someone who is proficient in social media, knows how to edit these methods of providing information to the masses and helping us to get the word out is needed.

Opportunity Details

Fundraiser needed. We're a friendly, casual group and we don't pressure our supporters or use scare tactics to get donations, but we have horses to feed and care for and could use assistance in raising funds for hay, veterinary costs, equipment (like solar panels to prevent water troughs from freezing in winter) and so on.

We’d love a volunteer to run fundraising (online events, fundraisers, raffles, etc.) in compliance with state and federal laws. We're a fun group and share a passion for horses and rescue, and we think you'll find this role really rewarding as 100% of the donations go straight to the horses and we have someone to do our books/accounting so you don't have to do that.

Our organization accounts are set up and ready, we just need some help putting some funds in to support the work we do.

Opportunity Details

Help coordinate, schedule, and bring in new volunteers (including screening).

A large animal rescue requires physical work on the farm as well as administrative work and leadership. By supporting Cowgirl Spirit Rescue Ranch in this role you allow the organizational leaders to focus on the horse rehab, training and rehoming so we can better meet our goals.

You can do this role remotely, using Zoom and/or email and Facebook so if you have energy, are organized and care about helping this is for you. Co-leaders welcome, it’s always fun to share the work!

If you are interested in a career in administration, management, etc- this role could be a great resume builder and experience for you.

Every child who enters art or poetry in the Metro Detroit Youth Arts Competition will receive stickers or another small gift from Mint Artists Guild. We need some people to help us mail out these appreciation gifts after the contest ends on Aug. 5.
