The girls put in countless hours building the pergola. Now, it is time to frame and enclose the Monarch Butterfly way station. The Monarch way station has been created to support the pollinator population. The children have observed 30 plus chrysalis and butterflies in just the last month. Our way station is important due to the extinction of the Monarch Butterfly. It gives a resting spot for the Monarch on their journey to Mexico. We have been listed on the Monarch Butterfly watch.org website due to the volume of Monarch activity in our location because of the environment we have created for the butterflies. This encourages and promotes education in our environment, science, social studies, math etc...Available Shifts
