Read with Me:On most days we need 6 -15 volunteers to visit our Books for Kids Libraries (located at both sites) and read to our students, ages 6 weeks -5 years old. Your time with us is incredibly important, not only to building our children’s language and literacy skills, but to supporting the Books for Kids Programming.
Programming takes place Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 8:45am-11am at 29th st, and Tuesday through Thursday mornings from 8:45am-11am at our Capitol Drive location.
Group Sign Up: When registering a group for a Read with Me opportunity, we ask that you assist with a maximum of half the total slots.
Age Requirements: We welcome anyone 4th grade and up to volunteer with us! Anyone under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

On Wednesday, April 17th, Arts For All is inviting Kohl’s Volunteers to join our Literacy Through the Arts program at PS15 in the Lower East Side! Kohl’s volunteers will work with Teaching Artists and students in First Grade to make paper bag puppets. In Second Grade, volunteers will help students create crafts about The Princess and the Pea.
