LLF is a 100% volunteer run organization that raises money for programs at public libraries in Loudoun, such as the county-wide Summer Reading Program, which keeps children engaged and learning during the summer break. We raise most of our funds through our annual book sale in June, and we're looking for volunteers to help with that.We set up the sale over three days, and the sale runs for three days. There are opportunities for those volunteers who need a sit-down job to those who are able to pick up and move boxes of books. For setup, we arrange tables; move, unpack, and organize the books, DVDs and CDs for sale; and post signage. For the sale, we need volunteers to assist book buyers, tabulate purchases, consolidate the books and just keep everything running smoothly. After the sale is cleanup and unloading equipment.
