This fundraising event benefits the children and seniors that our volunteers serve through our Reading Buddy, Pre-K Pal, and Homebound Shopping Programs.Since our establishment as an outreach service of Council of Churches of the Ozarks in 1974, RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) has been dedicated to improving the futures of children and older adults. Retired volunteers find renewed purpose in serving children and home-bound seniors. Volunteers improve individuals’ lives by providing companionship, literacy tutoring, and access to food. Last year, volunteers delivered compassion and assistance one-on-one to 614 persons. The need for these services continues to rise in our community. We are hosting a fundraiser to continue to meet those needs.
Last year was so fun, we HAD to make it an annual event! This 1950's diner-themed Bunco Bash is going to be bigger and better with cash prizes, root beer floats, and so many chances to win!
The fundraising event will take place Friday, November 8, 2019 at 6pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Event proceeds benefit the children, seniors, and families served by the programs of RSVP.
