The Media Foundation is an Oregon 501(c)3 organization converts in-kind media donations into operating capital that is then donated to local nonprofits. Donations such as CDs, DVDs, books, software, and vinyls are processed by volunteers and sold online through websites such as Amazon, eBay, Alibris, Half.com, and others.WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO? We could not function without our volunteers, and love seeing them return many times. They are the lifeblood of our organization and help in SO many ways! They catalog, clean, sort, prioritize, and file the donations. The more media we get processed, the more monetary support we give to our supporting nonprofits.
WHAT NONPROFITS DO WE SUPPORT? Serving Our Neighbors, Kindred Partners, A Social Ignition, Oregon Adventures, Transitional Youth, Periokos, Love Inc. Tigard, and Omega Espresso.
HOW DO I VOLUNTEER? Email or call! You will be able to volunteer at our office location, or an offsite location. We can even come to your workplace if you want to get a group together and make it a work event!
We appreciate your help, and so does your local nonprofit community. Thank you!
