Come and help clean and green our beloved All Souls School on April 14th (10:00 am - 4:00 pm) during School Improvement Day! There are many opportunities to lend a hand including: organizing classroom libraries, painting, cleaning classrooms, planting flowers, building garden boxes, sorting clothing donations for SAVERS and so much more! Breakfast and lunch are included for all volunteers. Come spend the day with a cool group of families making a difference at this one of a kind Spanish/Mandarin dual language elementary school!

JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship) Youth Day is all about getting the kids out of the house and introducing them to new opportunities. JAKES Youth Day is for Kids 5-15 years of age. Kids will enjoy a day of fun and interactive events while they explore the outdoors and learn the traditions of responsible hunting.

Volunteering

Those who are experts in using the software in the studio, support the activities in the studio under the general working principles of it.
Professional musicians or instrumentalists can make music in line with the projects to support our causes.
Experts, and related institutions can help us with the maintenance of the instruments and equipment at MUME (such as maintenance and repair).
The volunteers at DA (both long-term and short-term) can help clean and protect the equipment at MUME under the supervision of the director.

Opportunity Details

Fenton, MI – The YMCA of Greater Flint is calling all volunteers to help make this the best summer ever for Flint Ara youth. YMCA Camp Copneconic is looking for volunteers to help clean-up camp and ready the grounds for the busy summer season. Every year, over 4,000 youth will attend a day or overnight camp at the 700 acre camp in Fenton. 100 volunteers are needed to help rake, weed, paint, and complete light construction projects on the grounds of Camp Copneconic. Families and adults are welcome to participate although youth must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. All volunteers receive a t-shirt and lunch. Service groups are welcome.
