We are a non-profit organization that works to help people and animals in need, as well as to promote environmental protection. Consisting of several generations, our members complement each other with innovative and diverse ideas as well as different experiences and professions.

We are looking for volunteers from now on (duration of stay is flexible but at least three months, as it takes some time till the children adapt and to have a concrete process during your stay)

You will be living in a rural area near Paya which is located around 3 hours from Yopal, Colombia. There are two schools one in Milagros and one in La Unión that you would be helping out with. Both schools only have two teachers in total to teach around 30 kids of every age. With your help we would like to improve the educational system in these two schools and help the kids gain knowledge. You would be teaching whatever you feel comfortable with and would participate in planning the lessons with the teachers of these schools. Besides that we financed a speech therapist, that works one-on-one with the children and with who you would together as well. Furthermore you could be helping with community workshops in Paya and that way support the people living in the town. Feedback discussions and the possibility of communication with our teams is guaranteed during the whole stay.

On your days off you can walk around the beautiful mountains and nature around the area of Paya, get to know the locals better and spend time with the animals of the village. The nature and climate is stunning, so there is a lot of enjoyable things to do.

Place: Milagros, La Unión around Paya, Colombia
Transportation to Yopal to the communities once a month (big town with shops and mall)
Stay in a farmer’s house
Stay in Yopal 2 days a month (in the homes of people from the project team)

We could also arrange to host two volunteers. If you're interested we can share feedback videos of our last volunteer, just send us a message :)

We are looking forward to your applications and to create a beautiful experience for you in Colombia!
