Járókelő is a Budapest based non-profit NGO which has been working since 2012 to help citizens being able to report public space issues like potholes, faded zebra crossings, dead trees or graffities to lcouncils or utility service providers in order to solve these problems, creating a better, livelier and healthier urban environment.By joining our team you would be one of our admins, working with either the Budapest team or many others across Hungary. The job, sending messages from citizens to councils, handling answers and moderating user comments, requires Hungarian knowledge, only takes 3 hours of your free time per week on a selected day, and can be done from your computer or mobile device from wherever you want to do it.

The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden welcomes corporate volunteer groups to experience the Arboretum’s expansive natural beauty while also contributing to the restorative tranquility of the gardens. Corporate volunteers are inspired by nature, learn environmentally sustainable gardening techniques, bond with each other over the shared activity, and see firsthand their company’s commitment to the environment. Volunteers of all skills and abilities can participate!In engaging in this team-building opportunity, the company supports the Arboretum’s living plant collection and exceptional educational initiatives. Simply by donating the gift of time AND a minimum contribution of $600 for groups of up to 24 (groups between 25-40 require a minimum donation of $1,200), a corporate partner makes a real difference and also demonstrates its involvement with the community.

We need volunteers to care for our live teaching turtles, and then to take the turtles to schools and provide outreach/workshops and educational seminars on turtle conservation. Volunteers will learn about turtle handling, turtle biology and citizen science in order to transfer this knowledge to youth and landowners in central Ontario. Care assistants will also help to feed turtles, clean turtle ponds etc.

IT or technically savvy volunteers needed for assistance with box office, ticket scanning and computer based sales and marketing during the film festival which takes place from Thursday, March 21st through Sunday, March 24, 2019. March In The Park (MITP) is a Garden Club of Cape Coral, FL all day fund raiser. It is held each year on the 2nd Saturday of March at Jaycee Park, a Cape Coral city park. It features 30 – 40 vendors with garden related items for sale, a speaker each hour and chance drawings all day. The entire event is garden/horticulture related. The proceeds from this are used to support garden club projects that benefit our community and citizens, especially our youth. These projects include scholarships to students at Cape Coral high schools, donations to seven local school gardening/horticulture projects, donations to and working with Habitat for Humanity, an annual donation to the Butterfly garden at Rotary Park in memory of members who have passed and donations to FFGC project Camp Wekiva/S.E.E.K. a gardening/horticulture youth camp. Our members also plan, plant and maintain a rose garden at the Cape Coral Historical Museum and an accredited butterfly garden at the Cape Coral Library.Available Shifts
