When I started Triangle Bikeworks, I never imagined how a bike ride could transform not just our youth, but our entire community. Our Black Farm Tour fundraiser has become our most powerful event of the year – raising critical funds while honoring African American agricultural heritage and showing our kids what's possible when we come together.

Your volunteering directly powers our youth development programs. Every dollar raised goes toward bikes, leadership training, educational experiences, and creating opportunities for young people who might otherwise never discover their potential. When you volunteer, you multiply what we can accomplish.

Together, we can make this fundraiser a success and change young lives in the process.

We need to demo a structure and rebuild it. If we have enough People we can do the demo in one day, we will rent out a dumpster. We need to move stuff out of the structure to a temporary shed and demo everything there. It is a Carport and Shed that will be replaced with a Workshop and Shed for a Youth Urban Farm and bike Repair Program where Veterans and others will volunteer and serve as speakers to the at-risk youth.

Not for you? Reach out! We got a bunch of work we are doing to get these programs going! We still need more supervisors for the build and more volunteers for the build of the structure itself.

Girl Scout camps are properties designed to host opportunities for Girl Scouts to explore nature, build character, and connect with peers and mentors—either during the day or as overnight experiences. You can help keep our Girl Scout camps safe, well-maintained, and beautiful through volunteer work parties at Camp River Ranch, Camp Lyle McLeod, Camp St. Albans, Camp Robbinswold, Camp Towhee, and Camp Evergreen.

Stewardship parties are instrumental in ensuring that our camp properties and facilities provide a positive camp experience. At camp work parties, our job is to provide and maintain a safe, inspiring, and welcoming environment where youth can connect with nature, learn new skills, and create lasting memories.

It's fall at Camp! Help us wrap up the summer & prepare for the upcoming year of camp. Volunteers will help clear trails, maintain cabin units, organize & clean camp resources, and more! Connect with a crew of like-minded movers and shakers and experience the magic of camp for yourself!

PARTI (Positive Alternative Recreation Teambuilding Impact) is organizing the 2025 ExPosure Bullying Prevention Fundraiser on October 17 to support 1,000 youth through service projects, internships, and summer jobs. In response to the suicide of a Santa Clara High School freshman due to bullying, our student-led initiative spans several California cities and aims to reduce economic, social, and health disparities—with confirmed participants including San Francisco 49ers Foundation Board Member David Fein, Micron Executive Cristopher Moore, and Mera Burton of Santa Clara Valley Water.

Companies, executives, and business professionals are championing this effort to raise funds for 10 bullying prevention toolkits and youth-led campaigns in 10 Silicon Valley schools, programs that address mental wellness and socio-emotional support, and civic engagement activities benefiting 1,000 youth ages 12–24. The event will take place at the DoubleTree Hotel at the Pruneridge, 1995 S. Bascom Ave., Campbell, CA 95008.

Our goal is to secure 10 companies and professionals from different industries to align with our youth workforce readiness and career connection services, building pipelines to future careers and economic empowerment in communities facing disparities.

As a program of GROW North Texas, Owenwood Farm is an integral part of the Owenwood Farm & Neighbor Space project repurposing a 7-acre property into a community gathering and learning space. The 4-acre farm currently is home to 1 an acre of fruit and vegetable production and a 35-tree demonstration orchard with a variety of fruit trees. The Farm provides opportunities for volunteers to get their hands in the soil and experience what it takes to raise the food we see in the store using regenerative methods that improve the soil and create more abundance.

The Owenwood Farm staff works with your group to design one-time or ongoing, service-based team building experiences. Our urban farm can easily accommodate groups of up to 40 volunteers. Group volunteer events are half-day and take place either morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon (1pm-4pm, cooler seasons only). Your volunteer event will begin with a quick farm tour, farm orientation, and a two-hour service project.

Benefits of Group Volunteering at Owenwood Farm:
-- Strengthen your relationship with Owenwood Farm.
-- Learn about sustainable farming and food justice concepts and practices.
-- Connect employees to their local community.
-- Provide opportunities for connection and team building.
-- Strengthen your company's reputation in the community.
-- Demonstrate your company's commitment to social responsibility to customers and employees.

Every 2nd Saturday of the month, Owenwood Farm hosts a workday for the community in the morning. The time varies slightly with the time of year – in the summer we tend to start at 8am to beat the heat and in cooler seasons at 9am. Volunteers help out for 2-3 hours with general work tending crops, beautifying the farm, or on special projects.

Anyone is welcome to register and join us for 2nd Saturday. Children 2 yrs and older are welcome with parental supervision. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing that you can get dirty, closed-toe shoes, and bring a water bottle (preferably reusable).

Corporate volunteer groups are essential to scaling our impact and long-term sustainability. Whether planting pollinator gardens, participating in an orchard maintenance work day, or planting a community fruit orchard, your team can make a tangible difference. Volunteer events are designed to be both impactful and fulfilling, providing your employees with opportunities to learn, connect, and contribute to a more sustainable North Texas.

Opportunities include:
1) Orchard Planting: November through March, we have opportunities to plant fruit tree orchards at one of the 15-20 partner sites including schools, communities of faith, non-profits, etc. Support needed are volunteers (usually 10-20 people) and financial (up to $10,000 per site).

2) Orchard Work Day: Late January through October, we have opportunities to help established orchards do routine maintenance tasks like pruning, weeding, mulching, holistic spraying and planting support plants across the DFW Metroplex. Support needed are volunteers (capacity depends on site but generally capped at around 30-40 people).

3) Orchard Sponsored Project: Anytime, we can work with the corporate volunteer group to design a project that meets the needs of a partner orchard site and those of the corporate group. Some ideas include irrigation, native pollinator garden establishment, rainwater catchment, fencing, procurement of orchard tools, etc. Support required is financial (starting at $300 plus cost of materials).

Get Involved:
Partner with us to drive local fruit availability in our North Texas communities. Your company’s commitment to volunteerism not only strengthens local food systems but also inspires a culture of sustainability and social responsibility. Together, we can nourish communities and protect the planet—one project at a time.
