Come out and volunteer at a fundraising event that will benefit both the environment and adoptable dogs! Respect Our Waters, Sam's Tap, and Team Hawkeye are teaming up to hold a fundraiser at Sam's Tap in Bay View, Milwaukee. There will be food, drinks, adoptable dogs, information about stormwater pollution prevention, and, most importantly, PUPPIES!!! The main event of the afternoon will be a blessing of the dogs by ordained bartender Tommy! Proceeds will be donated to Bay View Community Center Food Pantry

We are looking for volunteers to take photos for our photo booth, sell 50/50 tickets, and generally assist with this event. Volunteers who help with the photo booth will help attendees capture the moment of their pet being blessed by Tommy!

Join the Waukesha/Milwaukee County Chapter of the Ice Age Trail to assemble boardwalk frames! Later this summer we will be constructing 100 feet of boardwalk in Lapham Peak State Park, one of the state's busiest parks. We are looking for helping hands to prepare for this major project in advance.
All tools and training will be provided - there is something for everyone to help with! Wear sturdy shoes and bring work gloves, we will provide eye and ear protection (or bring your own!). As we are using power tools, this event is not recommended for children.
We will be working in a barn, so sheltered, but dress for the temperature!

The goal of this activity is to beautiful and cleanup the courtyard for the spring. The students like to use it to have their lunch and often the teachers utilize it by taking their students out for class or have them do their reading time out there. It is a highly coveted extension of the learning space at Kempsville high school and we would like to make it nice for the kids to use.

Trees play a vital role in our everyday lives. They improve the quality of the air we breathe and the water we drink. They beautify our streets and shade our children. So when natural disasters strike, the loss of trees is much more than meets the eye.

The Community Tree Recovery program was created out of the great need for trees in the wake of natural disasters. Through this program, residents who lost trees in major disasters caused by wildfires, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and insects can receive free trees to plant in their yards. This work is critical for re-establishing neighborhood trees...as well as a sense of community.

Please join us in this tree distribution providing a needed resource to local residents. Children age 5 and above are welcome to participate as well as any other friends and family. We ask that you wear closed toe shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting a bit dirty! Gloves will be made available if needed.
