It is not easy to persuade people to change their commuting habits, but every great journey begins with one small step.In Israel, the issue of Sustainable Mobility is in its infancy. In order to make it mainstream, we must first start talking about it; What are the benefits of reducing the use of private vehicles, for us, the environment and the country, what are the alternatives we have and more.
We already have the data, and now we are looking for someone talented who enjoys making this data more accessible graphically, in order to increase its public resonance.
If you also believe in the importance of sustainable Mobility and want to be a part of the change, we would love for you to come and volunteer with us

For the first time ever, we are opening up the opportunity for volunteers to join an official delegation to a United Nations conference discussing human rights, and helping to shape the future. UN Women UK is inviting you to sign up to get more engaged in international policy, and have your voice heard.Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is an annual meeting of Member States at the United Nations, to make progress on global equality. This opportunity is NOT open only to people who identify as women, but is perfect for anyone with an interest in human rights, or global politics and development.
It consists of two weeks of meetings of high-level government ministers, representatives from NGOs and UN delegates, as well as hundreds of events set up by grassroots organisations and activists to discuss and make progress on specific issues, from child marriage to equal pay. There is a central theme each year - this year's theme is women's leadership - but the events running alongside the Member State meetings cover a huge range of topics and areas of passion.
Progress and gaps are discussed, and at the end of the two weeks a policy document is produced containing specific recommendations for the future of women’s and girls’ place in society. Member States agree on and sign up to this document together, and create action plans to put the recommendations into effect.
UN Women UK usually has a limited delegation of a few people who go to the UN headquarters in person to participate in the event. For the first time ever, the event will take place online - so we have been given the opportunity to expand this to democratise our delegation. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to become an official delegate to a United Nations event, joining from your own computer or phone at home. This means you can witness all the high-level negotiations, as well as attending and participating in the full choice of over 400 side events on different topics, and UN Women UK briefings just for our delegates.
We think it is really important that more people understand what happens at the United Nations and how they can have their voice heard, so we would really love to have a wide group of talented employees signing up to this opportunity. We hope you will be able to join!
Please note that while this opportunity is predominantly aimed at people in the United Kingdom and Ireland, events will happen on a rolling basis, so if employees are currently overseas this should not prevent them from signing up to be part of the delegation.
