Additionally the volunteer candidate will have experience designing and building videos to be shared via YouTube.

A background in Environmental or Social Justice is important, whether from industry experience or classwork. Engineering interests are a plus.

Each year 80% of the debris entering our waterways is introduced from inland areas (streets, storm-drains, lakes, ponds, etc.) through our watersheds and into the global waterway, our oceans. In addition to consumer-based debris, our watersheds can transport excess nutrients which can have a detrimental impact on the health of downstream ecosystems. To combat this issue Keep Pinellas Beautiful partners with volunteers, organizations, and community groups throughout Pinellas County to host cleanups and beautification initiatives in an effort to help to raise awareness in the community and remove harmful debris from entering into our waterways.Please join Keep Pinellas Beautiful and the Friends of Crescent Lake for a rewarding day of community improvement, engagement, and beautification.
Location: We'll be gathering at the lake. New meeting place for our monthly cleanups: TASCO Building parking lot by Huggins-Stengel Field, 1320 5 St. N.
Remember: Bring old close toed shoes to wear, some water and sunscreen. We will provide waders, water and snacks.

Help us restore one of the last traces of wetland habitat in the Truckee Meadows before it’s too late! The wetland property formerly known as the Rosewood Lakes Golf Course is currently in a state of ecological ruin due to an accumulation of unnatural debris and invasive plant species, and we could use your help to remove them. Join us, in partnership with REI and American Rivers, in our community cleanup on Saturday, June 15th, from 9am-1pm. Lunch will be provided after the cleanup. Register before June 8th to receive a free t-shirt! #REI #optoutsideClosed-toed shoes, sunscreen, long pants, and plenty of water are highly recommended.
