At Village Capital, we believe that the work of entrepreneurs solving urgent problems is vital to face the current world situation. For this reason, we fuel the growth of sustainable and impactful businesses by unlocking capital for early-stage entrepreneurs who are building emergent solutions for social, economic, and environmental challenges worldwide.Greentech Asia 2024: The Future of Sustainability will support early-stage companies who are creating locally viable solutions focused on cleantech and climate tech, agtech and food security, circular and regenerative economy, natural resource management, water sanitation, and health in South East Asia. The companies will participate in 3 weeks of virtual workshops where they will have the opportunity to analyze their business from different perspectives and be better prepared to keep growing.
The Selection Committee, formed by the Village Capital team and Moody’s volunteers, will review the Briefing Book, a document summarizing relevant information on the 20 semi-finalists (approx. 2 hrs). After reviewing and scoring the candidates, they will participate in the Final Selection Call, where the decision on which startups will participate in the program will be made (approx. 1 hr).
-Once you register, the Village Capital team will send you detailed information on the steps to follow to review the Briefing Book. This part of the process is to be done asynchronously.
-For the Final Selection Call, the Village Capital team will send you a calendar invitation and the information needed for this event.

Itaseoul is a non-profit organization based in Korea that aims to promote creative philanthropy. Every year, Itaseoul supports 1,000 individuals with volunteer programs and environmental awareness programs.The process is
1. Anyone interested in plogging can register on Ita Seoul's mobile app.

2. As they engage in plogging activities and collect litter, they can select the specific type of trash from nine categories available on the app, ranging from plastic to cigarette butts.
3. Once their plogging session is over, the app generates a summary that displays the duration of the activity and provides information on the quantity and types of litter collected.

Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc. (KLCB), a private non-profit organization, is organizing the annual Marine Cleanup a.k.a. “Monofilament Madness”. The goals of the cleanup are to remove unsightly and environmentally harmful fishing line and marine debris from the waterways and mangroves. The volunteers will spend their day cleaning up the mess carelessly left by others in order to raise public awareness about this preventable litter problem and the life threatening circumstances it poses for marine life. More than 200 boaters, kayakers and jet skiers are expected to launch their boats and physically remove the floating debris and monofilament fishing line.Available Shifts
