Our vision of sustainable development is deeply rooted in nature’s ability to adapt and regenerate. To support this vision, it is crucial to protect Thailand’s rich ecosystem diversity through ecotourism and to foster synergies between different natural environments: mangroves, coral reefs, tropical forests…

Our activities cover multiple interconnected areas. We provide immersive experiences guided by experts, allowing participants to both acquire practical skills and reconnect with the natural world.

Volunteer missions in ecotourism in Thailand:

Volunteers engage in a range of activities organized around six key themes:

– Research and conservation
– Tropical forest restoration
– Marine flora conservation
– Mangrove restoration
– Coral reef restoration
– Waste management

Set off on an ecotourism adventure in Thailand and help protect its natural heritage while making a meaningful impact!

AIMS & OBJECTIVES:

Our ecotourism missions have a dual purpose. First, they aim to actively contribute to the preservation and restoration of fragile ecosystems in Thailand by involving volunteers in hands-on conservation work.

Second, they seek to raise awareness and foster a deeper connection with nature. Through fieldwork and educational activities, volunteers gain a better understanding of environmental challenges while developing skills and knowledge that can be applied beyond the mission.

By encouraging responsible travel and local engagement, we aim to create lasting, positive change for both people and the planet.
Please note that the project is available for a minimum of one week.

Cléophée’s Feedback :
"This project has broadened my horizons through the mix of cultures and knowledge. I have learned the importance of communication, education, and awareness, without which ecology and nature conservation could not exist and continue. The encounters have also been very enriching for me, both personally and professionally. And finally, from an academic point of view, I was able to improve my English, which will be very important for my future life. This project will enable me later in my career as an engineer (I hope) to take all these ecological aspects into account."

The sorting and selection of clothes takes place at our headquarter in Pregnana Milanese. After a first introductive moment, there will be a brief explanation of the functions of the department and the tasks that will be carried out during the day.
In this phase, the volunteers, helped by our experienced staff, will be engaged in activities of selection and sorting of the used clothing donated to Humana by citizens.
For each item it will be important to identify the materials with which it is produced, an indication of the year to understand if it is vintage, the level of wear. Participants will learn how the process of selection works: from the analysis of the type and condition of the clothing to the choice of the final destination within the value chain.

The objectives of the activity are:
• raise awareness about circular economy best practices and climate crisis
• collaborate closely with Humana employees and learn from them new notions

The activity involves the employees in a collection campaign of second-hand clothes within the company.
Humana will organize a 30-minute webinar for the employees, which will introduce them to the organization and the activity and will provide insights into how each of us can have a positive impact on the planet. Humana will supply the containers (ecobox) that will be used to accommodate the clothes donated by the staff. The clothes donated will enter Humana supply chain of used clothing and will then contribute to the mission of the organization.
At the end of the campaign, Humana will create a report of the environmental impacts of the initiative in terms of clothes collected, litres of water saved, CO2 not emitted, unused pesticides, and fertilizers not dispersed in the environment.
This can be integrated with a swap party, which literally means "exchange party". The swap party was invented to renew the wardrobe without spending money, trading clothes and accessories still in good condition. Clothes not exchanged will be donated to Humana. To conclude, a refreshment can be organized by the company.
The objectives of the activity are:
• raise awareness abount circular economy best practices and climate crisis
• foster interaction and team-building between employees
