INCO Australia’s online Green Digital Skills Certification course aims to equip people with knowledge and skills to build sustainable digital solutions. The course is part of INCO Academy, a global training program for underrepresented people who are seeking to be included in society and find meaningful work.

Free and 100% online, over 4 weeks and 4 modules, learners will complete the course while being engaged by local teams on Slack and weekly Drop-In Sessions.

The volunteer Coach will complement other engagement efforts of the course by providing additional support to people who we believe may need it, so they achieve course competition, and have their skills and confidence lifted.

The Coach will guide the learner through the course by:
- Offering tips on how to stay motivated and energised through the online course
- Talking through how to solve a challenging situation, such as not completing a quiz or not understanding a concept
- Being a sounding board for any obstacles that are preventing course completion and think through how to overcome those challenges
- Undertake some online mock interviews or review resume and cover letter, for those seeking employment.

If the Coach has digital and sustainability skills, they can provide additional guidance, such as:
- Sharing knowledge on a course topic to provide the learner with additional information
- Sharing details on the tech industry and why this course is valuable for future success

The expectations of the Coach are to:
- The Coach and Learner will meet weekly for a maximum of 4 weeks. The amount of weeks spent Coaching will depend on how long it takes the Learner to complete the course. Once the learner has completed the course, you can conclude the Coaching.
- Participate in a weekly session that will go for 30 - 45 minutes and be online via Google Meet.

An Information Session and Coach Pack will be provided by INCO Academy. The Coach will form part of our pool of Coaches and be matched with a Learner by INCO Academy.

One of Sabin’s goals is to integrate affordable housing within our community, and one of the ways we can do this is by helping our residents with yard upkeep and maintenance. As a volunteer, you would be helping residents by weeding, mowing, planting gardens, building garden beds, and general maintenance. If you are an ongoing volunteer, you may be asked to “adopt” a property to focus your efforts on and allow for consistency with your work and for the residents.

With a limited staff component, SANCCOB relies heavily on the support of volunteers to achieve the mission of the organisation. Volunteers become an extension of the staff and are an integral part of the daily running of the centres. Not only do volunteers assist with the hands-on work with the seabirds, but also provide assistance in all functions of the centre such as marketing, procurement and fundraising. In short, we need volunteers like YOU to join our team!

Née du travail et de l'enthousiasme de 5 jeunes, l'Équipage Solidaire est une association de 67 membres, à l’origine de la plateforme de livraison gratuite Delivr'aide, venant en aide aux étudiants en situation de précarité par la livraison de paniers repas constitués d’invendus alimentaires et de produits de premières nécessités.

Disponible un peu, beaucoup, à la folie ? Voici ta mission :
Etape 1 – En milieu de semaine, nous envoyons à nos bénévoles la liste des bénéficiaires à livrer et leur localisation.
Etape 2 – Tu choisis le nombre de bénéficiaires que tu souhaites livrer en fonction de ta disponibilité, la distance/proximité des lieux de livraison
Etape 3 – On se réunit tous le samedi après-midi dans nos locaux à Montreuil pour que chacun puisse récupérer ses kits à livrer.
Etape 4 – une fois tes kits en main, tu peux partir à la rencontre des bénéficiaires que tu as choisi de livrer pour effectuer la livraison. Et voilà !

Register to help us validate questionnaires designed for use in The Voice of 1,000 - Canada's first National Youth Survey on Climate Change and the Environment.

We value the input of adults who are parents and children - on the questionnaire design and comprehensibility of terminology utilized in the questionnaire, which is intended for kids aged 8 to 14.

Warmup Shelters are used for relief from the severe winter conditions for our Provincial snowmobile trails. We have outgrown one of our shelters and we are planning to build a larger building. The building is also used the rest of the year for ATVers, cyclists and hikers. It is a place for people to gather and socialize.

San Diego BIG is dedicated to keeping our San Diego beaches clean and well-maintained. We love the beach, and we love to support health and wellness through cleanups, projects, and active lifestyle events. If you love to visit and support the beach, and if you love health and recreation, please support this event.

9:00 am Beach Cleanup - Feel free to take part if you'd rather : Gather your friends and co-workers to help us keep trash and unwanted items off the beach. We focus on gathering man-made plastics, aluminum and cleaning up illegal fire debris. We collect plastic bottle caps to build park benches, lone flip flops for beach art and aluminum cans to recycle and buy kids books for mini neighborhood libraries.
10:00 am F45 Bootcamp. Note: we might need some help setting up the BBQ, but if things are running smoothly, feel free to join the Bootcamp.
11:00 am BBQ Lunch and Spikeball. Note: we might need some help here, but there will be plenty of time for Spikeball.

Opportunity Details

Volunteers are an integral part of the NHCA, as we are largely volunteer run and would be unable to conduct most of our programming and events without the work of all our amazing volunteers. The work of our volunteers contribute to a stronger, more resilient community that is vibrant, diverse, inclusive and sustainable. Volunteers at Food Truck Frenzies will be running the membership table, set up with information about volunteering, programs, events and more. Volunteers will be selling memberships and interacting with community members to increase the positive presence of the NCHA and spread knowledge about what we do.

Opportunity Details

Our monthly Saturday work days will focus on larger field work projects, as well as property and conservation projects. Volunteers will be invited to participate in a brief community building, educational, or meditative experience as we begin our work together.
