We invite you to volunteer for a tree plantation drive across various cities in India. Trees are vital in combating climate change, improving air quality, and fostering biodiversity. Your participation will help create greener, healthier communities. Let’s join hands to make a lasting impact on the environment.
The places will be chosen in the city which require tree plantation and employees can decide on 1 date per city to come together and plant a tree with their families and friends. Minimum 100 trees are required per city hence we need atleast 25 volunteers per city so that every volunteer can plant 1 tree.
Get your hands dirty, to make this planet a beautiful place for the future!

National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the nation’s largest single-day volunteer event for public lands, bringing people together to strengthen their connection to the environment and build a community of environmental stewards. Held annually on the fourth Saturday in September, NPLD is also a “Fee-Free Day” when entrance fees are waived at national parks and public lands.
A signature event of the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), and supported by federal and state agencies, corporate sponsors, and nonprofits, NPLD plays a crucial role in preserving natural spaces for future generations. The theme for NPLD 2024 is “Together for Tomorrow.” From trail maintenance to tree planting, beach clean-ups to forest bathing, volunteers of all ages and abilities will join forces to care for America’s natural resources.

DESCRIPTION: Join the Seattle Aquarium to learn about issues facing our one world ocean and ways you can take action for marine conservation. Specifically, we will explore the Aquarium’s species conservation work.
The Seattle Aquarium’s species recovery program puts our expertise in animal welfare, research, field conservation, ocean policy and social change to work to save species from extinction. Sometimes species need direct assistance to recover from human impacts, in addition to resource management and protected areas. Together with dozens of partners, we’re helping to recover endangered species—both here at home and around the world - through reintroduction efforts and participation in global partnerships.
Come and learn about critical issues facing marine species, the Aquarium’s species recovery work with pinto abalone and the Indo-Pacific leopard shark, and how you can play a role in advancing marine conservation and marine animal health in your home and community.

- Aquarium introduction and current state of the ocean

Description: We are looking for participants to contribute content advocating for global causes by submitting short blog posts, video messages, or artwork related to a cause they are passionate about. These creative pieces can be featured on Global Impact’s website and social media channels, showcasing personal reflections and unique perspectives on global issues.

Invite participants to share personal stories or reflections about why they care about a particular cause or global issue. These stories can demonstrate the diverse motivations behind supporting a real global impact and inspiring others to join in. Popular causes we are looking for content in include:
• Clean water access
• Climate resilience needs
• Disaster relief response or current emergencies/crises
• Education
• Economic development or innovative solutions in ending poverty
• Global health news or trends
• Human trafficking
• Initiatives ending hunger
• Refugee experiences globally
• Social justice topics like LGBTQ+ inclusion globally or human rights needs in the world
• Empowering women & girls

Participants: This project can be done individually or in a self-facilitated group. If you would like your project to be facilitated by a Global Impact team lead, we can offer 5 facilitated sessions in October and present on current global issues while participants create their content, if desired. (No minimums apply)

Location: Your team is welcome to gather in-person for self-facilitated groups, or work virtually for individual projects, self-facilitated groups, or Global Impact-led events, on Teams.

Duration: The time commitment of this project will vary by individual. Video messages can take 15 – 30 minutes to draft and record, while blog posts and art pieces may take longer. If you would like Global Impact to facilitate a discussion alongside the activity, event length depends on your group’s interest and availability. Can be 45-60 minutes with group discussion and an interactive presentation, a 10-minute top headlines update, or something in between.

Geographic Reach: Global Impact and our Charity Alliance of 75+ organizations address critical causes around the world. If your group is interested in a particular region or country, or a particular cause area, we are happy to tailor our remarks to that area or issue, otherwise, the presentation covers a wide range of places and participants are welcome to create content about topics that interest them most.

Additional Details: no funding is required. Physical materials for art pieces must be supplied by the individual or team, even for Global Impact-led events.
