Due to the many stresses that single parents deal with, it is vital that they find a healthy way to relax, recoup, and revitalize. Many families take a vacation in order to let go of their day to day demands. Unfortunately, many single parents are unable to afford traditional vacations. We created the Empowered Camping event to teach single parents how to take their families camping by themselves. This allows them to disconnect from all electronics and reconnect to their families. We need volunteers to help teach them how to set up a tent, build a fire, safety concerns, and what essentials to pack for both survival and for comfort while in the wilderness.Available Shifts
