At Village Capital, we believe that the work of entrepreneurs solving urgent problems is vital to face the current world situation. For this reason, we fuel the growth of sustainable and impactful businesses by unlocking capital for early-stage entrepreneurs who are building emergent solutions for social, economic, and environmental challenges worldwide.

Greentech LatAm 2024: The Future of Sustainability will support early-stage companies who are creating locally viable solutions focused on cleantech and climate tech, agtech and food security, circular and regenerative economy, natural resource management, water sanitation, and health in Latin America. The companies will participate in 3 weeks of virtual workshops where they will have the opportunity to analyze their business from different perspectives and be better prepared to keep growing.

This session will happen during the third virtual workshop, where the teams will gain insight from mentors (including Moody’s volunteers) into the biggest strategic challenges they are facing as a company and gain experience leading a board meeting. We are looking for volunteers within the organization that can offer insight into business development, strategic planning, capacity building, and customer discovery.

The session will follow this format:
-Introductions and Break into Small Groups: Each group will consist of 2+ mentors and two companies.
-Small Group Work: The entrepreneurs will introduce their company and present their strategic challenges to then receive insight from mentors.
-Full Group Debrief

Before the Session:
-Volunteers will receive a calendar invitation and a Mentor Packet including information about the session and the companies one week before the session.
-The session will be held in Spanish.

Volunteers are welcome to participate in one or more program events.
