WHAT: Confluence, The Mission Continues, The City of Vancouver and Fort Vancouver National Historic Site will partner to organize a volunteer Earth Day Work Party to take care of the pedestrian bridge that helps connect the community to the Columbia River and its history. This special public art site is designed to connect visitors and the community with the Native plants and cultures of the place we call home. Volunteers will help shovel, haul and spread mulch, pick up trash, weed, plant, and tend to the Earth!

You're invited to join volunteers with Nearby Nature and SOLVE for an Earth Day clean-up of Alton Baker Park and the Whilamut Natural Area! By picking up litter, we help protect the extensive waterways in and around the park, benefit the creatures that live there, and enhance the natural beauty of this wonderful open space. Come prepared for the weather, bring a water bottle, and wear sturdy shoes and something you don't mind getting a little dirty. Gloves and tools provided.
