Our club will be working with Ashland Soil and Water Conservation District to pack tree saplings. Members of the community will then come to pick up the tree saplings and take them home to plant. This is an opportunity for the youth of our 4-H club to give back to the community in a way of service and also help restore the natural resources in our area. As a 4-h organization our pledge is to use our hands for larger service for our club, community, country, and world. This event is an outstanding way to put our pledge to work! This event is held close to Earth Day, giving us yet another way to value and realize all that our great community has to be thankful for but helping us realize what simple tasks we can do to make a difference.
