Join I Love A Clean San Diego, Flaherty’s Charities and the County of San Diego for a litter cleanup! We will divert litter from our watersheds and keep it from traveling to the Pacific Ocean.

Our staff will have check-in ready for you on site. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, some form of sun protection (sunscreen or a hat) and bring a water bottle or two! Staff will be providing everything else you will need!

Opportunity Details

Whinnies is a community garden supported and run by volunteers. As like most gardens, Whinnies requires a certain amount of upkeep to ensure its always looking its best to attrack new visitors which then generates revenue.
Upkeep may include, general gardening upkeep (pruning, digging over, removal of weeds etc), painting / oiling (number of outdoor features which require regular weather protection) and numerous other maintenance tasks (fitting doors, lights, windows etc).

This is a rewarding opportunity to learn new skills, gain gardening knowledge and experience, as well as contrinute to a local community.

Data security is our No 1 priority
(All data is securely wiped using specialist data erasure software. We are registered with the Environment Agency and are fully compliant with WEEE regulations.)

CRT monitors and PCs with Vista, XP or Windows 7.

Opportunity Details

Old Hill horse sanctuary is calling for volunteers willing to get muddy but hearts filled with joy! :)

We need help in two fields, offline and online:

1. Outdoor cleaning that includes: clearing up the ranch from fallen branches and leaves, cleaning the boxes, stables and yard, horse and donkey grooming (not necessary/if volunteer wishes and knows how to) and other similar light work.

2. Also marketing and strategic skills are always welcome to improve our online appearance too.

Spending time with beautiful rescued animals included. :)
