2019 will mark our thirteenth year to host our Father Daughter Dance. This special event was created to encourage a deeper bond between fathers and daughters on one magical night. We recognize that some girls may not have a father figure in their lives, so we encourage any positive male role model to escort these girls to our dance to have an evening of fun!Available Shifts

The Ties and Tails Gala is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year. This years theme is a Hollywood Red Carpet theme of "Pawlywood." Our event features a silent auction with loads of fabulous items, heavy hors' d oeuvres, a DJ and a cash bar. ALL proceeds raised from the event will go to help the animals in our care. We contact area local businesses starting in December to start to secure items for our silent auction and start working to put together all of the details. This years event will be held at Tresca on 8th in Downtown Lynchburg. A fundraiser of this size is crucial for a rescue group such as ours since we have NO public funding, and ALL monies received are from donations made by individuals in the community. In 2018 we were able to save over 250 animals and find them new homes thanks to the outpouring of support we received from those in the community around us. For this event we'll need help in the evening. Duties will include helping with sign in, helping coordinate check out at the silent auction and payment for items won, and a small amount of clean up at the end of the event.Available Shifts
